Local Chapter Leadership Conference @ Autodesk University 2006

As a precursor to Autodesk University this year, AUGI is sponsoring a Local Chapter Leadership Conference on Monday, November 27, 2006.
The AUGI Leadership Conference will focus on the creation, building, and maintenance of user groups / local chapters at the local level.
- Registration 2:00 to 2:30 p.m
- Welcome and Introductions 2:30 to 2:50 p.m
- Leadership Conference 3:00 to 6:30 p.m
- Networking Reception & Refreshments 6:30 to 7:30 p.m
The general session and opening remarks will be followed by Instructor Led sessions that focus on such issues as local user group membership, marketing initiatives, and group structure and organization.
This will be followed by the breakout sessions devoted to tackling specific problems facing our Local Leaders, where all attendees will be grouped into small teams. Each team will be given a topic and assigned the task of developing new ideas and approaches in keeping with that topic. It is in this group exercise that ideas and best practices will be shared and innovative techniques will emerge.
A networking reception and refreshments will follow the Leadership Conference. Please plan to attend the AUGI Leadership Conference for a truly rewarding experience.
