Usability Sciences is performing a usability study for one of Autodesk's products and is seeking individuals in the Dallas, Texas area. Participants will recieve $150. This link is to to an ad for the study.

Autodesk offers new program for the unemployed.

Autodesk has announced the Autodesk Assistance Program. It offers free student versions of software so that you can get additional training in your field of work. Perhaps you were a laborer and want to move to the office? Now you can get the software to learn on and get discounts for training. Maybe you have already used Autodesk software, but additional training might help make you more competive when looking for another job?

• ATP243 - Themes and Styles, The Display Manager in AutoCAD Map3D In this Fast Track course we will cover how to create a theme and style standard drawing objects based on the map object data attached them, how we can change the objects color and size at different viewing scales and how to create a legend for a map.
• ATP244 - What's new in AutoCAD 2010 Once again, each new year brings a new release of AutoCAD. This course will provide an in-depth look at the new features and enhancements in AutoCAD 2010.
