Our new replacement email server is online. All things are returning to normal.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.

AUGI President
We have been experiencing an email outage for emails generated from our website.
You may have noticed that you are not getting emails notifications from the AUGI Forums,Wish Lists, New Member Registration and more.
We suffered an email server crash last week and have been moving to restore all services.
We hope to have everything restored soon.
Until that time, all non-email related functions on our website are working. The Forums are going strong and all data is still intact.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.

AUGI has offered free file exchange via Drop.io for some time. An important announcement from Drop.io indicates that they have been bought by Facebook - see below.
All AUGI members who have used this service should take note of the process related to Drop.io closing up shop.
We thank Drop.io and our collaboration over the past months. It is encouraging to know that AUGI partnered with a great technology provider and we may be looking for new partners in this arena.
Good luck to Drop.io and their staff.

From Drop.io...
Here at drop.io we’ve had a great three years helping people privately share pictures, video, audio, documents, and more. As of Friday October 29th, we’re proud to announce that drop.io has struck a deal with Facebook. What this means is that Facebook has bought most of drop.io’s technology and assets.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be winding down the drop.io service. As of this week, people are no longer able to create new free drops, but you’ll be able to download content from existing drops until Dec. 15. Paid user accounts will still be available through Dec. 15 and paid users will be able to continue using the service normally. After Dec. 15, paid accounts will be discontinued as well.
* Please download your information before Dec. 15 *
On Dec. 15 the drop.io site will shut down and all drops will be deleted. No user data or content will be transferred to Facebook.
Other drop.io services like Presslift, our Yahoo! Mail Application, and our APIs will stay online for a longer period before the company winds down. We’ll announce more details on that soon. However, starting immediately, we’ll no longer be selling new premium accounts for those services.
To our loyal users and fans, we can't thank you enough for your patronage, support, and feedback (good and bad) over the years. If you have any questions or need help, please email us at support@dropio.com and we'll get back to you right away.
Warmest regards, The drop.io Team
